Reconfiguration and partial new development

The 100 year old property on Whiteladies Road was unused and neglected for over a decade. The property, formerly known as the Whiteladies Picture House, is a landmark building in Clifton and has been the subject of numerous attempts to find a new use to ensure the future of the building.

The project was for the re-creation of a vibrant new 3 screen cinema with various ancillary spaces and new flats in the original Victorian terrace.

The design is a carefully balanced scheme which respects the historic character of the building introducing a high level of acoustic attenuation to the new accommodation.
