Project Title
Farleigh House
New Dwelling

A contemporary 4 bedroom new family home in the North Somerset green belt.

The brief was to prepare a contemporary dwelling maximising the far reaching views over the countryside in place of the existing farmhouse and outbuildings. Strong justification was required to demonstrate the loss of the designated 18th century heritage asset would be substantiated by good design.

Farleigh house is accessed from a gravel courtyard linking outbuildings to the property. At the heart of the home is a large foyer and contemporary staircase. To the north east are the principle views and open plan accommodation with the more formal areas and ancillary accommodation sited to the south west. The Master bedroom benefits from an open corner design providing 180 degree views.
